"Purchased and using my new Bonavita Cosmopolitan Electric Kettle as of June 2026. A classic and pleasing product design that Eva Zeisel, renowned industrial designer, would have loved. The kettle has improved my pour over coffee making routine by 100%. Beautiful polished stainless with an elegant digital heating base. The ergonomic handle is comfortable and the digital features are easy to use. The printed manual that comes with it is well written and illustrated with excellent graphics. "I've had the old version for 10 years. After a decade of daily use, it still works great. I bought the new version in white for the office. The pictures don't do it justice - it's a beautiful but subtle almost mother-of-pearl finish. The new base is larger than I'd like it to be and i dislike all the LEDs and that the power light glows 24/7. I'll keep this one at the office. I wish the classic version and old base came in white. Overall very pleased with the kettle though. Be advised that this baby draws about 8. 5 amps, so running it on the same circuit as a microwave or other major appliance will trip a standard 15 or even 20 amp breaker. No complaints though. I like it hot and I like it now."
