"Was disappointed to realize Bonavita discontinued their 1.75L option and that this was much smaller. Product itself is great, just not what I expected. It is small."

STOP GUESSING. START BREWING IT RIGHT.
Too hot and you burn the grounds. Too cool and you lose the flavor. The Bonavita gives you one-degree control from 140°F to 212°F — so the only variable left is how good you want it to taste.
THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE. NOT APPROXIMATELY. EXACTLY.
A 1200-watt heating element gets you to your target fast — and 1-degree accuracy keeps you there. Green tea, pour-over, French press — dial it in once and it's ready in minutes.

SET IT. FORGET IT. BREW IT.
The 60-minute heat-and-hold keeps your water at the exact temperature you chose — not close, not "close enough." Step away, get your grounds ready, come back. It's still perfect.

I have my 4th one
"I have my 4th one of these. We bought the first one in 2013. I do not remember why, but I replaced it 2 years later. The 2nd lasted 12 years, then began to fail. A replacement earlier this year broke down after a few months, and we replaced it with a new one, now my 4th kettle, the next day, from Amazon, because the Gosseneck kettle is such a significant part of life-making coffee every morning for more than 13 years with a Bonavita Gooseneck Kettle (or a Bonavita coffee maker, which helped us through the pandemic). Then I contacted Bonavita about recently-failed number 3. That's when I learned how good and pleasant their customer service is. I have a replacement kettle at no cost. Since we have another new one purchased from Amazon, the replacement from Bonavita will wait in the wings. I am completely happy with Bonavita because of the quality of their products and their wonderful customer service. Their customer service staff are friendly and extremely hellpful, and the Bonavita Gooseneck Kettle is a dear and reliable friend."
What a great kettle! Great
"What a great kettle! Great for tea and pour over coffee! Why didn't I buy one sooner?"
I received the wrong item.
"I received the wrong item. I reached out to Bonavita support the day I received the wrong item and haven't heard back 4 days later."
A replacement for the same
"A replacement for the same model kettle that expired after many years of faithful duty. Works perfectly in my coffee routine. Looking forward to many years of daily use."
The numbers are brighter than
"The numbers are brighter than the last model, which the ants made a home in. I prefer the less bright numbers. Also, this new model beeps every time you take it off the base. Boo. I don’t need digital noises early in the morning. I will try harder to evict the ants…. ."
Works great! Exactly what I
"Works great! Exactly what I needed for temperature controlled tea brewing. The form is compact enough for my counter. The instructions are straightforward. Very pleased!"
So far, so good. We
"So far, so good. We appreciate that Bonavita Customer Service followed through and replaced our first one that died while under warranty. We hope this one will last much longer."

The Bonavita Classic is alright,
"The Bonavita Classic is alright, not perfect, but not a bad choice for $99. It does heat water to within a degree C or so of the set point, holds the temp accurately for an hour, will pour really quick if I want it to & seems easy enough to control. I don't like the handle but it's not terrible I guess. Plastic & it has a very noticeable seam I'm guessing where the molds came together, hopefully that isn't an intentional feature. It's not sharp but it's not really comfortable to grip either. The thing I really don't like is the plastic extends into the inside where the water is. It doesn't touch the water unless you overfill it, but it still shouldn't be in there & I don't like that. Took a while to wash the manufacturing smells out but after a little soap, lots of rinsing, and several liters of water boiled through it I'm not smelling anything. Did notice another annoying thing though, the top of the kettle has the metal folded in around where the lid sits which makes that feel & look nice but it also leaves a lip inside so it's impossible to just dump that last bit of water out. I guess I'm going to dry the inside anyway so it doesn't matter but why does every kettle/carafe seem to be designed to trap just a little bit of water/coffee? The display is bright, and the LEDs are brighter, would be nice to have a dimmer & to be able to turn off the beep sounds when pushing buttons."
